Mission Statement

So I know this is a little lame — but bear with me.

I had an assignment in seventh grade to create a “mission statement” for myself. The teacher gave us no criteria or restrictions — she just told us to make something and turn it in. I’ve always enjoyed reading the funnies in the newspaper, so I cut out some comic strips and wrote some lines pertaining to them and turned it in.

I was looking through some of my papers the other day and I found my mission statement. It turns out my core values haven’t changed much in the last nine years. I’d make it a little different now,  but the behaviors listed in my 7th grade mission statement are still things I strive for as a Senior in college.

Anyway, here it is — glue stick saturation and all:
